The sports retail market has become dominated by the discount sector. So this advertising campaign had to communicate that Intersport is the place for those who are serious about sport.
We found that the answer lay within the store staff. They were all enthusiastic, knowledgeable and, most importantly, active sports participants.
The ads we created demonstrated this clearly using a split photography technique. This was a simple but effective creative solution, that tells the story better than words ever could.
By setting the photography in simple environments, we created advertising that felt like real life. And using real staff rather than models simply added to that genuine feel. So thanks go to Nick, Sheena and Tom for being patient and understanding!
Since the campaign has run, we’ve noticed that it has been copied by others in the market a few times. But we thought you’d like to see the original and best.
